Our arms have been jabbed; the holiday is paid up; the bike bags purchased; Dog Dazer on order; but we can't apply for visas until 30 days before travel. Personally I'd like visas issued before shelling out the full cost, but there's not much we can do about that. I also have to admit to a little weight-anxiety. Bikes are part of checked baggage, limited to 25kg. Bike and bag weigh 21kg before adding tools, spares etc. I guess we'll be making the absolute most we can out of the 7kg carry-on allowance!
